Hello, I am Atish Kumar, a passionate cybersecurity enthusiast with hands-on experience in network security, SOC operations, and threat detection. I have completed multiple internships that deepened my understanding of both offensive and defensive security practices.

Over the past few years, I have worked on building and managing cybersecurity setups using tools like Splunk, Palo Alto Firewall, Wireshark, Sysmon and YARA. My experience includes setting up log forwarding systems, monitoring network traffic for anomalies and detecting threats such as phishing, ransomware and SQL injection.

I have also interned with the Gurugram Police, where I gained exposure to real-world cyber incidents and learned how law enforcement handles digital threats. My technical journey includes projects focused on network simulations using Cisco Packet Tracer, malware detection through YARA and integration of SIEM tools like Splunk and Logstash for real-time alerting.

I was interning at PurpleSynapz, where I continue to enhance my practical knowledge of incident detection, response and log analysis. My goal is to grow into a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst and contribute to building stronger cyber defenses for organizations.

I am deeply motivated by the idea of protecting digital systems and continuously improving my skills in threat hunting, malware analysis and network monitoring.
