I am a highly skilled and motivated civil engineer, with a Bachelor of Technology (Hons) in Engineering (Civil engineering) from the Open University of Sri Lanka and a Diploma in Quantity Surveying. With 5 years of experience working on a range of high-rise building projects and road projects, I have developed strong skills in project planning, monitoring, procurement, tendering, and quantity surveying.

My passion for civil engineering has driven me to continually seek out new challenges and opportunities for growth. I am currently seeking a position that will allow me to expand my knowledge and experience in project planning and development, and to contribute my expertise to your organization.

My experience in the field has equipped me with a range of technical skills, including proficiency in software such as PROKON, ETABS, SAFE, and TEKLA, as well as the ability to carry out structural calculations manually. Additionally, I have developed strong skills in project management, including the preparation and submission of schedules, RFIs, DPRs, and other project-related documents.

I am also well-versed in procurement and tendering processes, having experience in tender document preparation, pricing, and submission, as well as subcontractor agreements and negotiation on rates. I have a strong understanding of contract administration and sub-contractor management, and have experience in rate buildups for different types of works.

Furthermore, I am skilled in supervising and monitoring site works, including formwork, reinforcement, concreting, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, aluminum works, and finishing works. I have experience in labor handling and supervision, as well as handling technical and engineering problems and rebar schedule preparation.

I am an excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and I am always willing to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure the successful completion of projects. I am highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
