Brothin Das

My name is Brothin Das, B.Tech 2024 grad from Techno India University, West Bengal.

I have worked as a summer intern at IIT Kharagpur and have previously done an internship as a flutter developer for BUG XS and also developed a few personal projects on full stack web development. I have also done competitive programming and DSA on various sites like CodeChef (5 star), HackerEarth (Global rank 42), LeetCode (700+ problems) and GeeksforGeeks (Institute rank 1) and achieved some exceptional ranks on various coding competitions.

I am currently working as an android developer intern for IIT Kharagpur. My work included:
• Created an Android application implementing on-device inference and on-device training of machine learning model using TensorFlow Lite, achieving faster processing and reducing reliance on external servers.
• It combines three essential features: login and registration, data save and retrieval from Firebase, and two types of models, first one being a digit classification model to predict digits in an image and second being an image classification model to predict objects in an image.
• Digit recognition machine learning model is trained in Python using MNIST dataset and Object recognition machine learning model is trained in Python using CIFAR10 dataset.

I have also previously worked as a Flutter developer Intern for BUG XS. My work included:
• Designed a full fledged Flutter E‑Commerce application with Backend using Javascript, Node, Express, MongoDB and Mongoose.
• Includes features like auth with email/password, cart, searching products, fetching them based on category, rating them, fetching deal of the day, checking out using GPay/Apple Pay, viewing details of the order along with their status which can be changed from the
admin panel, view total sales and graph of sales based on category.
• Learned to create REST API’s, store data in MongoDB using Mongoose, use REST API’s with Flutter and Dart using Models and use Flutter State Management tool as Provider.

I am currently in final year of Bachelors in Technology from Techno India University, West Bengal.
