A Chartered accountant with analytical and experienced senior financial professional with more than 29 years of experience (20 years in UAE) leading a broad range of accounting and controller responsibilities  I wish to build on my achievements and take on a management position. 

I have experience in Media, TV, Publishing, trading, F&B Industry, Non-banking financing, manufacturing and hospital- pharmacy industry. As a consultant I have experience in PR, construction, Media distribution, interior decoration, flooring, Aluminum Fabrication and tyre trading industries.

The scope of my expertise is extensive and includes the full complement of corporate finance, accounting, budgeting, banking, treasury, internal controls, Cash flow management, growth analysis, cost control, profit center profitability analysis, project profitability analysis, GP by profit center and breakeven analysis. Reporting functions like review and presenting monthly profitability reports, Balance Sheet equally important are my expertise in business planning, operations, administration, and general management.

My line of interest is in improving accounting systems, setting up internal control systems, introducing informative periodical reports, introducing detailed MIS reports, introducing Profit center/cost center concept of analyzing accounts, reducing/controlling cost by studying ones business as compared to competitors business and optimum utilization of the funds.

Working as:  Finance Controller - Reporting to CEO

Achievements: Managed to reduce factory rent which was the major cost element by convincing investors to finance building own factory. Implemented replacement of high salaried work force with cheaper work force to do same work without compromise on the quality. Imported consumables in bulk to get benefit of economies of bulk buying. Introduced the man machine matrix to evaluate the cost per hour of each machine to enable estimation for each job/project.
