Artchoudane, MSc, MPhil, BEd (Spl) – Intellectual Disabilities, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Yoga Therapy, Center for Yogic Sciences (CYS), School of Rehabilitation and Behavioral Sciences, Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (DU), Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospital Campus, Puducherry, India. With over 21 years of experience, he is a certified yoga therapist, autism therapist, special educator, master trainer, national judge, BLS trainer, consultant, and rehabilitation therapist, with
expertise in both teaching and research. His research focused on yoga’s impact on pulmonary, cognitive, digestive, neuromuscular and cardiovascular functions, as well as on neuroplasticity in neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and others. He has more than 12 peer-reviewed publications; 3-Conference proceedings; 10 Copyrights; 13 Conference presentations; 5 PGs and 1 PhD
Guide; and 1 PhD Evaluation. A passionate therapist and award-winning contributor, he continues to promote therapeutic potential of yoga towards sustainable neurodevelopmental health in autism.
