Dr Kirti Ranjan Swain

Dr. Kirti. R. Swain, Associate Professor  – Finance and Accounting has completed M. Com, MBA, MSW, PGDBA, LLB, and Ph.D. and also the completed Certificate Program – Introduction to Derivative from Corporate Finance Institute, India. He has more than 22 years of academic and academic administration experience. He has been a guest lecturer at the Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar, and other management institutes in Odisha.

During my twelve years as a postdoctoral researcher, I oversaw two Ph.D. candidates, one of whom had already been awarded. As a result of my research, I have 22 peer-reviewed journal publications, 10 book chapters, 02 book reviews, 02 edited book editors, 02 case studies, 02 books for Postgraduate students, 03 study materials for University Master's degree students, and 32 national and international conferences to which I have attended and presented research papers. As an academic advisor, he is also affiliated with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, and Odisha State Open University.  He is a Life Member of the All India Commerce Association, All Orissa Commerce Association, All India Accounting Association, Teaching and Education Research Association (TERA), and Member of All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi. 

He is a member of the Editorial Board of “ITIHAS - The Journal of Indian Management”, Member of the Reviewer Board Journal of Management and Science-JMS & Pertanika Journal of Social Sciences & Humanities. The Pertanika Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities named me a reviewer exceptional for 2018. In addition, he has been involved in various capacity-building training programs, consulting engagements and case analysis workshops, etc. 

Dr.  Swain taught different finance and general papers - SAPM, Financial Derivatives, Financial Accounting and Management, Cost & Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, Ethics & Corporate Governance, etc. His research expertise’s are in Corporate Governance, Banking and Risk Management, Corporate finance & Behavioral Finance.
