Dr Saurabh Shukla

Dr. Saurabh Shukla is presently working as Associate Professor, School of Forensic Science, Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM), Bhubaneswar, India from June, 2024. Prior to this he was working as Assistant Professor, Department of Forensic Science, School of Bioengineering and Biosciences, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, India. He did Postdoctoral studies from Henan Normal University, China. He has obtained Ph.D. from Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (now NFSU) and has more than 10 years professional experience. He has cleared UGC NET-JRF exam in the subject Forensic Science in 2011. He has published 39 research, review papers and book chapter in peer reviewed International, National journals with 419 citations and 11 h-index. Dr. Shukla has presented his research findings in National and International conferences. Dr Shukla has also reviewed research and review article from different journal like, Heliyon, Next Research, PLOS one, Chemistry select, Pharmacological Research – Modern Chinese Medicine.

In CUTM, Dr. Shukla is taking theory and practical class of M.Sc and B.Sc Forensic Science class in the subject Instrumental Techniques, Forensic Ballistics, Forensic Anthropology. He has successfully guided 05 Doctoral Students for the award of Ph.D. in Forensic Science and presently supervising 01 Doctoral Students. During Ph.D. Dr. Shukla has taken theory and practical class of M.Sc. Forensic Science program and covered different topic in Fingerprints, Forensic Toxicology, Questioned Document, and General Forensic Science. He has also taken theory class of PG Diploma in Fingerprints and PG Diploma in Forensic Toxicology program at GFSU, Gandhinagar. Prior to Ph.D. Dr. Shukla worked as Senior Scientific Assistant-cum-Jr. Crime Expert at Forensic Science Laboratory, Port Blair A&N Islands.
