Dr. Sonali Mukherjee

As a passionate and a competent academician with 25 years of experience in teaching national and international curricula, I am currently seeking new job prospects compatible with my qualifications and experience.
 

With regard to my qualification, I've my Doctoral Degree in the field of Applied Economics and Management. I have two Post Graduate degrees, one with M.A. Economics and second with M. Com (Mgt). Under my professional degree, I have B.Ed. from Bhopal University, India.

My work philosophy reflects in building a well-developed competence in teaching and managing cross-cultural interactions, capable of creating a spirit of common purpose and collegiality. Instead of one-way autocratic teaching, I prefer people-centric deliberation that encourages students under me to think critically, communicate clearly and solve problems creatively. I would like to encourage students as well as teachers to associate themselves with the global issues and developing empathy and respect towards other communities by not only discussing the issues together, but also coming to a solution together.

I started my teaching career in the capacity of an Associate Professor with a NAAC accredited PG Degree College, “The Bhopal School of Social Sciences”, (B.S.S.S.), M.P. After completing 8 successful years, I joined Daly College Business School (DCBS), Indore affiliated to De Montfort University, Leicester, University of U.K. in the capacity of an Asst Professor under the faculty of Business n law for 09 years (from Aug 2006 to July 2015). Before relocating to India, I worked as an IBDP and IGCSE facilitator of Economics in Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School, Jakarta, Indonesia from August 2015 till Feb 2021.

Presently I am working as an IBDP and IGCSE facilitator of Economics at Sarala Birla Academy, an International Residential school at Bangalore, under the aegis of the Aditya Birla Group.
