Dr. Vijay Kher is one of the most pre-eminent nephrologists in India. He has over 40 years of experience in his field. He has established successfully running, high volume Nephrology departments at various hospitals. These include Medanta – The Medicity (Gurugram), Fortis Hospital (New Delhi), Apollo Hospitals (New Delhi), SGPGI (Lucknow) and Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (Srinagar).
His expertise in the field of renal transplant is without parallel. He has successfully carried out over 5000 transplants for patients around the globe. Dr. Kher has been awarded fellowships of Indian Society of Nephrology and Royal College of Physicians, Edinburg.
