Banking & Financial Services Experience (9 years): YES Bank and Standard Chartered GBS

Of the 16 years post MBA , 9 years have been with the Banking and Financial Services sector with roles including:

• (Current role with YES Bank): Managing a team of 100 + individuals for the past 2+ years as the Head of Anti-Money Laundering Function. The role involves extensive interaction with multiple regulators, Top Management and Board of the Bank. I was also sent as a speaker to attend one of the multinational forums (in Moscow), by the Ministry of Finance, Govt. Of India
• 4+ years (also with YES Bank) as the Head of Internal Consulting Function within the Bank handling multiple projects (25+ projects) across various functions such Digital Banking, NRI Banking, Transaction Banking, Finance, Governance & Risk Management
• 3+ years with a Global Financial Services entity (Standard Chartered) as a business process re-engineering professional (full time employee) driving multiple projects

Consulting Experience (7 years): 

Prior to the BFS stint, worked for Avalon Consulting and Capgemini Consulting; worked on more than 35+ projects in India & abroad on strategy & transformation areas.
