Cable Drums Selection : Cable drums are the part of Packaging for shipping in different type of materials such as plastic, plywood, 
and steel carrying different type of electric wires and cables. 
The material choice depends on the weight and on the support it is being used, it also depends on how the drum is supposed to be 
stored either indoor or outdoor. The cable dimension consists of Drum diameter, Barrel diameter, Drum width, Inner width or 
traverse, based on the overall cable diameter, despatch length of cable and bearing in mind the weight bearing capacity of the 
drum supplied by the vendor, considering minimum bending radius and clearance from top to avoid damaged, are calculated on 
excel and selection of drum concluded for any Cable. In special cases Non-standard drum can be calculated.
Created detailed cross-sectional cable drawings for all type of cables. 
Conceptualised & effectuated engineering innovations for Product Value Addition, Cost Innovations, Value Engineering and Resource
