About Gopika Madhu:

I am a Textile design graduate from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore. My design language is a combination of distinct patterns with a touch of sophistication to create intriguing elements. I have always looked forward to learning new things and firmly believe that everyday has something new to offer. I find pleasure in applying my knowledge of textiles in multidisciplinary context, be it in making products or applying it in spaces. I believe constant learning and accepting changes is what improves the person.

Experience

I am working as a Textile Designer at NMK Textile Mills Pvt. Ltd.  India. My job profile consists of conceptualizing and creating home furnishing fabric designs for US, UK and Canadian markets.
Studying the current trends and clients to come up with new ideas for their upcoming collections.
Working closely with in-house sampling team for surface printing, embroidery and velvet designs. Developing color line for fresh collections and designs as per client requirements.
