Filling the inventory for the day and checking stocks and informing purchase department of the requirements for the next day. • Packed and labeled baked goods with accurate description and ingredients • Assisted the head chef in overseeing other employees and use team work to ensure the production and completion of cupcakes, cakes and other desserts. • Managing & directing a team of 2 line cooks to include overseeing that daily responsibilities, health and safety standards are sustained. • Responsible for Menu design, pricing and portioning of dishes. • Test and tweak new menu items before they are included in the menu • Effectively coordinating with management and kitchen staff during service to guarantee successful lunch and dinner shifts. • Preparing variety of bread, sauces etc. on a daily basis needed for service.

Education

Planned and Organised with initial café opening with menu planning. • Did Research & Development for all products. • Procuring supplies, food and equipment for the Bakery department and for setting up the café • Responsible for Menu design, pricing and portioning of dishes • Sampling new products from suppliers and incorporating in the café menu. • Managing Bakery and Confectionary department for day to day production. • Co-ordinating with customers as per their requirements • Preparing variety of bread, sauces, Mousse, Cheesecakes, Pastries,desserts,etc. on a daily basis needed for service. • Preparing artisan/Gourmet breads like sourdough,focaccia,buggettes, and Brioche breads • Planning and maintaining the schedule for the following day.
