DISSERTATION
Community safety in hazardous situation in slums
 Visited 4 camps Navjeewan Camp & Bhumiheen camp (Govindpuri), Rajasthani camp (Sarita Vihar) and
BIW camp (NTPC BADARPUR) where conducted field visits to check the risks and hazards of the
community people may face in near future.
 Conducted mother’s group (MG) meetings in the 4 camps to resolve any unresolved issue and talk
about the problems they face living in communities.
 Conducted children’s group (CG) meetings in the 4 camps and taught the children about good and bad
touch and also had a general discussion about their studies and community living.
 Conducted participatory vulnerability and capacity meetings.
 Analysis of (PVCA) meetings in all the camps and recorded the data with the staff
