I’ve spent over 15 years diving into the fascinating worlds of mechatronics, robotics, and healthcare technology. My journey has been anything but ordinary; I’ve had the privilege of leading projects that not only push the boundaries of engineering but also make a tangible difference in people’s lives. One project I’m particularly proud of is the Karkat Nirnay Yantra (KNY), an infrared imaging system designed for breast cancer screening. With a diagnostic accuracy of 93.27%, it has already helped over 200 patients while reducing false positives by 15% through smart machine learning techniques.

At the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), I spearheaded the development of KNY Version 2—a portable version that cut down system volume by an impressive 75% and increased screening speed 25%. This experience taught me how crucial it is to blend innovation with practicality to create solutions that are not just advanced but also accessible to those who need them most.

In addition to my engineering work, I’ve also embraced my role as a Cyber Security Instructor. I played a key part in establishing a centralized forensic lab network across four states in Northeast India—this initiative reduced investigation times by 40%. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how technology can streamline processes and enhance public safety.

Teaching is another passion of mine; I developed a specialized training program at the North Eastern Police Academy that equipped over 700 officers with essential skills in smart device forensics and As a Designated Responsible Member(DRM), In another Project, I trained over 2000 law enforcement officers on digital evidence analysis. Sharing knowledge fuels my enthusiasm—there's something deeply satisfying about empowering others with tools that can help them make a difference.

and featured in national media.
– Tea Quality Analysis System: Designed and patented a tea quality analysis system using image processing,
granule size, texture analysis, tea liquor transmittance, and ANFIS/ANN models, reducing
manual grading time by 30%.
– Biomedical Systems Development: Authored and co-authored over three peer-reviewed publications on
biomedical systems technologies, including ECG, EKG, and EMG applications; findings contributed to
an automated preoperative planning system for acetabular size and angle detection in hemiarthroplasty,
enhancing surgical precision.
