The main business of Broadridge as a service provider supplies public companies with Proxy statements, Annual reports, important financial documents and Shareholder communications solutions

Mutual Funds:

Mutual fund is a fund that pools together money from many investors and invests it on behalf of the group, in accordance with a stated set of objectives. Mutual funds raise the money by selling shares of the fund to investors that includes individuals and institutions, much like any other company can sell stock in itself to the public.

CAGE Application:

CAGE is a settlement processing system. Transaction between seller and buyer and their settlement done in CAGE where the seller gets money and buyer gets shares. There are DTC and non-DTC processes wherein for DTC related, the receiver has to approve the delivery after which DTC sends approval and settlement messages to deliver and receiver.

CUES (Common Underwriting Evaluation System) is a rule engine made for creating rules which allows business users to key-in Rules and Rule Engine is designed for Auto, Home and RV (Recreational Vehicles) lines of business.

CUES has front end (Java) and back end (Mainframe) operations, the rules are keyed in the front end and transferred to Mainframe database overnight.

Responsibilities as Technology Analyst: 

• Worked in analyzing the root cause of day to day application issues and implementation of solution which includes initial Root cause analysis till deployment through problem investigation and code remediation.
• Handling complete SDLC which covers identifying the problem through initial investigation, creation of initial and final RCA documents, getting approval from Business.
• Deployment of code through projects by initiating various levels of approvals and creation of Problem remediation documents adhering to Standard Release process. 
• Taking care of Incidents, Service Requests, problem requests/tasks raised through Service Now to the CUES Application Maintenance & Support team.

This Project is intended to test the Rule Engines which takes the decision whether an application has to be approved/declined/referred/continued which uses Mainframe environment.

Responsibilities                  :          

• Analyzing and processing the test cases created for business needs.
• Interacting with the business team to validate the Rule Engine changes.
• Preparing the test data and testing documentation.
• Verifying and Validating (V&V) the test results and documents are created as per the requirement adhering to the PCI (Payment Card Industry) standards.
