Dear Sir/Madam, 

This refers to the job advertisement I looked up on LinkedIN.  

A quick brief, I have 29 years+ experience in Marubeni, GE, Alstom, Larsen & Toubro in Leadership roles in Strategy, Marketing, Sales, C-Suite engagement, Strategic Account Management, Business Development, Bid & Contract Management in Power, Renewables, Industrial and Infrastructure Sector. 

In my most recent role in GE as Regional Sales Director(Services), I managed teams with responsibility to grow Sales pipeline, track variance and maintain Sales Forecasts, built new customers, promoted our accepted T&C’s, involved in NPI programs with Product Portfolio Leaders and pushed out our new offerings to clients, placed GE as value proposition alternative to Clients having long term contracts with OEM’s. Wherever necessary to expand outreach to Clients, I put in place customized Channel partnership agreements. Orders secured were US$ 100-150 Mill p.a. for Main Power Plant equipment and FGD, NOX emission control equipment. 

Largely in Alstom and GE I have also handled Strategic Account Management role (notably NTPC, CLP, State Utilities where I was responsible for C-Suite engagement), presented Country Strategic Plans to Internal Stakeholders, analysed  Competition Intelligence and pricing strategies, presented National Sales Forecast plan to Central Leadership Team(solidly supported by detailed bottom-up sales funnel analysis).  

In Larsen & Toubro, I was Team Proposal Leader (EPC bids) and I was in charge of Tendering & Sales Team where due to introduction of exclusive agreements with new vendors, we could win for the 1st time EPC bids worth US$ 1 Billion. In all my roles, I have coached and mentored my teams based on prescribed Learning & Development curriculum and other defined KPI’s. Currently, I am advising investors on MSW to power, hydel pumped storage projects, solar IPP’s, acquisition of thermal assets.

In Marubeni, I was Business Development Head and responsible for Sales and Business Development . I secured orders for Captive DG plant for Chowgule Group, Goa, Balance of Systems for Pumped Storage Plant funded by JBIC, concluded technical collaboration agreement for manufacturing diesel engines(Kubota) for Bajaj Group, concluded technical collaboration agreement for manufacturing of Boilers, Turbines, Generators, pulverizers(MHI) for Larsen & Toubro.
