Jagriti Upadhyay

My professional experience is a blend of technical, project-based, and leadership roles. I’ve completed an internship in AI/ML and data science with Diginque Labs in collaboration with IIT Roorkee, where I worked on real-world datasets and applied machine learning techniques using Python. My major academic project focused on Visual Storytelling, where I fine-tuned BLIP and T5 transformer models to generate image-based narratives and evaluated them using industry-standard metrics like BLEU, METEOR, and CIDEr.

Alongside my technical work, I’ve also held leadership roles such as Content Head of my university’s E-Cell and served as a Student Coordinator. These experiences helped me develop strong communication, content strategy, and team collaboration skills. I’ve also actively participated in social initiatives through NSS and was a mentee at Codess.Cafe, where I gained mentorship in the tech space. Overall, my experience reflects a balanced skill set in both technical development and cross-functional teamwork

I hold a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. During my academic journey, I gained a strong foundation in programming, data structures, and algorithms, along with in-depth knowledge of AI/ML concepts, deep learning, and neural networks. I’ve also completed coursework and hands-on projects involving computer vision, natural language processing, and transformer architectures, which directly align with the roles I’m applying for.
