Janaki Srinivasan

Janaki Srinivasan is a passionate teacher, accredited (Jolly learning, UK) phonics trainer, and certified literacy consultant (I can read-Asia). She is a trained Montessori teacher holding the Cambridge International Diploma in teaching and learning. She is the founder of Lofty Learners Educational Trust, a teacher education centre in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India . Lofty Learners has successfully trained and placed over 150 teaching aspirants since its inception in 2016. 

Over 1000 teachers of both private and government schools across Southern India have been trained by her in Jolly Phonics. Janaki facilitates engaging training sessions with a great degree of professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm. She strongly believes that empowering children with early literacy at a very young age benefits them in a multitude of disciplines. 

From her personal experience, she vouches that the multi-sensory Jolly Phonics curriculum thoroughly engages all children, including those with learning difficulties. Janaki conducts engaging and enriching Jolly Phonics classes for children aged 3.5 - 7 years and has seen exponential improvement in their literacy competency and self-confidence.
