Sogex Oman is a pioneer in operation and maintenance of power
plants for more than twenty years and is an O&M contractor for the
Ministry of Electricity and water, Sultanate of Oman.
There are ten frame six gas turbines and one frame - five gas
turbines. Gas turbines are supplied by M/s General Electric, M/s
Thomassen, M/s Alsthom and M/s BHEL.
Controlling of the gas turbine is by Speedtronic System provided
by General Electric USA.We have Mark V Speedtronic System ,
Mark IV Speedtronics and Mark II Speedtronics System with ITS.
Responsibilities:
 Handling Instrumentation department independently to execute
activities related to power plant instrument maintenance
 Motivating departmental staff to carry out jobs in prompt manner.
 Managing spare parts inventory, accessing the offers received
from various vendors for spare parts.
 Searching supplier for outdated spares at power plant and data
sheet preparation.
 Involving in getting quotations from the original equipment
manufacturer and approving them.
