Kuldeep Kumar

My name is Kuldeep Kumar, and I recently completed my PhD in Physics (February 2024).

My research expertise is material modeling, computational condensed matter physics, DFT.

I have dedicated myself to mentoring students as a part-time tutor at a coaching academy for the past seven years.

With a steadfast dedication to both teaching and research in the field of physics, I have spent the past seven years nurturing minds as a part-time tutor at a coaching academy while concurrently delving into the intricacies of material modeling and computational condensed matter physics. In my role as a physics researcher, I've focused on unraveling the mysteries of materials at the microscopic level, striving to contribute to our understanding of their fundamental properties. This journey has been complemented by my commitment to education, where I've tailored my teaching methods to empower students with a deeper comprehension of physics concepts. By seamlessly balancing my roles as an educator and a researcher, I've not only fostered academic excellence in others but also made significant strides in advancing our knowledge of the physical world.

During my PhD in Physics, I have developed a strong foundation in physics, with a particular focus on investigating the structural, electronic, optical, and transport properties of low-dimensional materials. My research interests primarily revolve around material modeling and computational condensed matter physics. I specialize in utilizing Density Functional Theory-based codes to unravel intricate material properties, contributing to advancements in this field. Furthermore, I had the privilege of serving as a short-term scholar at Michigan Technological University, MI, USA.
