Kumar Kanchan

I'm Kumar Kanchan from Udupi, Karnataka. I'm an introvert and avid learner. 

I have 7 Years 6 months of IT experience. I have been working in Pune since last 4 years. I do not have any location constrains, I just want to work in a learning environment, Where I can utilize my knowledge and learn many things from my surroundings. 

Currently I'm looking for the opportunity to work in Google Cloud. I have recently completed my Associate Cloud Engineer certification and I'm preparing for the Professional Cloud Architect exam.

I would like to learn about multi cloud platform (AWS, Azure). This is my future plan.

I have started my career as Google workspace consultant. I was responsible for implementing and maintaining any changes in Google Workspace. After few years, I got a chance to work with Google cloud as a consultant. I was responsible for creating GCP projects for different team in our project. I have also worked on IAM , using different types of roles and assigning them to a user, group or a service account. We also create custom role, giving them access to specific permissions, which is necessary to maintain or handle their applications following Google's recommendations. Also responsible for creating and maintaining service accounts.

We also use IAP, which gives access to the applications via OAuth by authorizing and authenticating the correct set of user accounts, So that there won't be any unauthorized access to the application.

I'm also responsible for deploying and maintaining the app engine applications to a specific region. Responsible for creating the VM's , VPC as per the requirement, creating firewall rules, taking snapshots of VM disks on a regular basis, creating instance groups and template. I have also implemented shared VPC and VPC peering. We have migrated on premise data to cloud using Cloud VPN gateway.

I'm responsible for creating and maintaining billing accounts. I segregate billing account depending on a gcp projects or it's environment in which they are present or team in which these projects are being used. We also create billing alerts based on a single GCP project or group of projects. Sometime I provide access to the other project members so that they can maintain their own billing account. I do extract the billing costs to big query data set and then create dashboard and then present it to our clients in our annual meeting.
 

I graduated in Computer Science and Engineering (B.E) from National Institute of Engineering.
