Good day Sir,

I am Mariner Engineer with 13+ years of techno-commercial experience in shipping industry,  writing to apply for promising Opportunity.

Presently I am working as Senior Claim Handler with Maersk for chartered fleet , wherein I take care of varied different claims ( Damage caused to Vessel , Grounding , Collision , Damage to Jetty ,Oil Pollution , Bunker  Off - spec etc ) in sync with Post Fixture team and local operations.

• More often I am involved in operations in arranging Repair work for the damage caused to Vessel due to the accident based on commercial impact , Class condition and Makers recommendation.
• I was leading the team in Maersk for setting up the Bunker Claim process .
• I was awarded Maersk Eagle , Innovation, Star Performer and Spot/Star award for the outstanding contribution in Year 2019 ,2020 ,2021 and 2022 respectively ! 

The key strengths that I possess includes:

1) I have sailed as Fourth Engineer Officer on an Aframax Tanker and Bulk Carrier. I have also sailed on Product Tanker as Assistant Engineer and my sailing Experience has helped me understand technical aspects of shipping.

2) I have Served as an Assistant Surveyor to Indian Register of Shipping (Classification Society).

3) I was working in Vessel Operations ( Post Fixture Operations) with  Scorpio Tankers and our core business involved executing oil trade.

4) I have Completed my Post Graduation in Shipping Management which has helped me understand Commercial and Legal aspects of Shipping .

5) I have worked as Technical Superintendent in Hermes Ship Management (Assignment in India ,Singapore and Taiwan ) 

6)  Previously I was working as Correspondent Manager for  P&I Club's (Steamship Mutual and Shipowners') with Crowe Boda wherein I have spent quality time handling varied P&I claims for 2 and half years.

7) I strive for continued excellence optimistic. I have a Computer Science background and Good management skills.

I believe that my academics, experience in maritime industry and myself being a good learner makes me an asset to shipping Industry.
