Madhurangi Perera

I am Madhurangi Perera from Sri Lanka. I have completed my M.Sc. in Environmental Management, and graduated in September 2019. I have two undergraduate qualifications, a B.Sc. Special Degree (Forestry and environmental Science) and I am a Graduate Chemist. I am confident in tutoring Chemistry, Math, Biology, and Environmental Sciences.

Teaching has always been my passion and throughout the years I have had many opportunities of exploration and growth in that avenue. The first tutoring experience was at University of Sri Jayewardenapura where I worked as a Demonstrator for the Undergraduate Students. Then During my tenure at University of Moratuwa I was able to tutor the undergraduates and also conduct practical classes in the Environmental Engineering Laboratory. I have joined Third Space Global and Global Ed Tech (Pvt) Ltd (Matheka), where I provide customized one to one online tutoring for UK/USA Primary and Secondary Students within their school hours (as a part of National Tutoring Programme). I thoroughly enjoyed every tutoring experience, and I experience a high level of satisfaction when a student is able to obtain a conceptual understanding of the subject matter.

I believe that I have a strong background in Applied Sciences which gives me an upper hand when teaching and I would be able to make a significant difference in the lives of the students by using methods that will encourage a growth mindset.
