Fin-Ops Payroll Specialist (Singapore & NZL)
Responsibilities/Role in Singapore payroll:
- Processing & Coordinating the end to end payroll for Monthly & Semi-Monthly cycle for 3500+ employees.
- Preparation of Payroll Inputs as per vendor templates by collaborating with upstream team.
- Process various personal actions like Hiring, Transfer, Organization reassignment, promotions and separations.
- Responsible for making last mile payments to Statutory bodies before the due dates.
- Interacting with payroll vendors/IRAS/CPF/MINDEF Officer for regular updates on NS Claim, IR21 Filing & Legislation Advisory.
- Responsible for monthly audits and quarterly GRC audits (Governance, Risk & Compliance)
- Responsible for sharing the payroll reports to Accounting, Cash, Auditing team & ensuring to keep General Ledger payroll accounts in green in metrics.
- Analyze General Ledger payroll account activities and prepared adjusting journal entries.
- Strong knowledge of IR21 Filing, Tax Directives, payment process to IRAS for tax clearance.
- Well versed with the NS Claims process.
- Understanding the process gaps & implementation the process improvements projects.
- Collaboration & Networking, built strong partnerships with HR, Operation Excellence and payroll vendor to implement process developments.
- Processed controls & check points that are standards and requirements process controls that align with organizations goal.
- Conducting trainings session to new hire associates on all the process and other lodgments activities.
- Responsible for the accurate transmission of IR8E, Appendix-A, Appendix-B etc. are filled accurately to IRAS board through crimson logic portal.
- Working with Operation Excellence team on process improvements & Testing for tools of OE.
