I am working as a Lab Assistant at Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology in Genome India Project, The major objective of the project is to catalog the genomic variants from diverse populations present in different states of India and to use this data to construct human reference genome data for Indian population. The project aims to design genome-wide arrays for diagnostics and basic or clinical research at   an affordable cost. In this project, I counseled people from different parts of India to collect their blood samples. The genomic DNA from blood was then analyzed by Next Generation Sequencing using Illumina platform.

Earlier I worked as Technical Assistant at DBT- National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi, India. to carry out project - Determining the mechanism and consequences of     inter-regulating between two tumor suppressor: p53 and BLM helicase, under this project I worked on cre-loxp recombinant mouse(cd79a cre and blm flx-flx) to check genotypes through tail pcr and isolation of B-cells from mice’s spleen & bone marrow by using flow cytometry (FACS).
