Masters Thesis “Influence of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Patients' Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) on the Expression of Clinically Significant Astrocytic Proteins involved in Inflammation and Oxidative stress”
- Compared and evaluated the effect of CSF from patients (MS and other neurological disorders) on vital astrocytic molecules (GMF b, QDPR, PHB1, DJ1, GM-CSF, iNOS, HMGB1, NO, etc).
- Studied the influence of Quinoid Dihydropteridine Reductase (QDPR) and Glial maturation factor beta (GMF b) on the
immunologically active molecules in astrocytes.
-Accomplished tranfection, enhanced expression and purification of QDPR and GMF b in astrocytes (CTX.TNA2). 
-Studied the effect of a novel inhibitor in suppressing the expression of active pro-inflammatory phosphorylated GMF b across differentially expressing GMF b transfected clones versus the control.
-Performed antibody purification from MS patients CSF samples and studied the reactivity of the purified antibody fraction towards QDPR.
