I am a Delhiite to the core, having completed my schooling from the prestigious Bal Bharti Public School, Ganga Ram Hospital Marg, New Delhi and thereafter, pursued BA (Hons) in English from Janaki Devi Memorial College, University of Delhi.

I am a computer savvy person and have been acknowledged for my skills in the language and certified by the University of Cambridge for successful attempt and completion of the Business English Certificate (BEC) exam (Level III).

With a passion to pursue Mass Communication as a career, I successfully earned my Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations (PGDPR) in first division and thereafter, completed my Masters in Mass Communication. 

I am a versatile personality, who experimented and delved into various fields before finally settling down for teaching as a career. For the records, I have worked with the famous Sheraton group as a Marketing Executive, and has had my stint with an Advertising Agency as the Public Relations Executive.

The coveted Central Institute of Education (CIE), University of Delhi, was my alma mater for the Bachelor in Education (B. Ed).

I have successfully earned my Masters in three domains, namely, Masters in Mass Communication, Masters in English, and Masters in Education.

Currently, I am a Research Scholar, pursuing my research on the comparative study of the works of Ruskin Bond and Jeff Kinney.

In a teaching career which spans across more than 22 years, I have specialized in the field of teaching English to the learners of classes XI and XII, designing the curriculum and planning the syllabus for classes I to XII.

My outstanding results of class XII, year-after-year, are a testimony to my dedication for the purpose of providing quality education to her learners. 

The academic year 2023 - 24 saw 5 of my students score a nearly perfect score of 99/ 100 and 5 more students score 98/ 100!

The session 2022 - 23 had witnessed 7 of my students score a perfect 100, while 4 students scored nearly perfect score of 99/100 in class XII CBSE examinations, in English.

The year 2021 - 22 had witnessed 14 students score a perfect 100 in class XII CBSE English examination.

For my outstanding CBSE results, I was awarded the Certificate of Recognition by Ms. Smriti Irani, the then Minister for Education, Government of India.

I am also the proud recipient of ‘Outstanding Result Award’ for consecutive years since 2021.

I was acknowledged as the ‘Women Mentor of the Year’ by Global Empire Events & BizNation TV in 2023. My role as an Edu-Leader won me the ‘Contribution to Education Community Award 2024’, at the World Achievers’ Summit & Award 2024. The Commerce Teachers’ Foundation also commemorated me for the successful mentorship of the Commerce Topper in IOC 2024. I have also successfully completed the prestigious ‘Training of Trainers’ programme, initiated by the CBSE, wherein, I would be working in sync with CBSE to train the educators, across the country, on the nuances of English Language Teaching. 

For the last more than 16 years, I have been working at Indraprastha International School, a reputed CBSE school at New Delhi, as the Head (Examinations),  Head of the Department (English), and Subject Expert (English), and am constantly involved in conducting training sessions for the teachers of English Language. I have contributed considerably in the editing of the school Resource Books and is an authority on vetting the question papers, across the streams.

I also hold expertise in training the teachers on Classroom Management, Life Skills and Motivation. 

I am currently working as Head (Lit., Comm. & Exam), and with more than 22 years’ experience in teaching English and almost nineteen years’ experience in teaching English to class XII, I believe my qualifications will match your requirements. I have also worked as the Headmistress (Senior School) at Indraprastha International School. I have been actively involved in editing of the various communications/ newsletters/ school magazines of the school. 

I not only possess excellent interpersonal skills, but also the ability to motivate and inspire the fellow co-workers.
