Responsibilities:
 Ensuring the processes of Heat Treatment goes as per PPL using SCADA.
 Monitoring the processes and metallurgical report of heat as per the control plan and analysing time study to find problems on the process.
 Evaluating field materials like Low carbon Steel alloys (SAE4140, SAE1020, 16MnCr5 etc.) to assess
compliance with established specifications.
 Monitoring SCADA system for Problems and adjusted controls to maintain efficiency.
 Maintaining process parameters, conducting quality Checks on output product.
 Quality audits for QS 9000/TS16949 and CQI-9 as a special process audit.
 Manage periodic maintenance of furnaces and their utilities and maintain the record.
 Maintaining all testing records and ensure that the records are easily retrievable.
 Approve the In-process datasheet report, inspection report and receiving the report.
 Maintaining a safe healthy working environment on the shop floor, and maintaining records related to production, material movement, manpower, productivity for a line/shift.
 Regular checking and information about working conditions and availability of spares.
 Responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and tracking heat-treatment activities and well versed with PPAP and FMEA.

 Metallurgical Failure Investigation analysis for root cause identification, appropriate corrective & preventive actions.
