Design and Engineering Support to VALARIS PLC - A Major Drilling Rig Contractor

Responsibilities: 

▪ Supporting Electrical and Instrumentation Team in Designing and Creating Electrical System drawings of Offshore Drilling Rigs (Drillships, Semisubmersibles and Jackups) 

▪ Day to day engineering support for all major reactivation campaigns 

▪ Co-ordination with Clients, Inter disciplines and Vendors for technical queries resolution 

▪ Preparing Single line diagrams (SLDs), Schematics, Equipment layouts, Termination diagram, Cable Interconnections, Lighting layout, GAs, Cause and Effect, Hazardous Area Plans in compliance with requirements, classifications and regulations 

▪ Codes and Standards: ABS, IES, ISO Codes 

Tools Used: 

▪ AutoCAD, Inventor, JIRA, Meridian (Database Management Tool), Microsoft office tools
