I firmly believe that my qualifications, skill set, intensive training and extensive experience make me a suitable candidate for research. I am certified in Nautical Sciences and hold a Masters Degree in Nautical Sciences & Tactical Operations from Cochin University of Science & Technology, India and also a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Andhra University, India. As an individual, i am keen in continuous learning and professional development; I have dedicated 14 years serving as an Armed Forces Officer. Three years ago I have re-attired myself and started my second career in corporate. This has resulted in strong professional competency in all operational, project and Team management techniques. 

Being from the Navy background, I am a result - oriented professional who has been consistently praised from my co-workers and management. Over the course of my 17 years career, I have consistently demonstrated analytical, communication and leadership abilities in every aspect of my roles at different profiles including India Navy and also through my corporate tenures. Served the Indian Navy at various ranks and levels, I have demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in high-pressure and challenging working environments. My responsibilities varied through Project Management, Training & mentoring, Threat Analysis, Security Audits, Acceptance and trials of highly sophisticated equipment, Change management. During the subsequent corporate tenures, I have applied my learning’s in managing projects, managed teams, driven results from time to time.

• As the Navigation specialist and Master Fighter Controller :-
• Headed the department of Operations, Navigation, Aviation and Training onboard frontline warships and Units of the Indian Navy.
• Optimally managed all the scarce resources by achieving the mission objectives assigned every time.
• Ensured safety of men and material.
• Threat Analysis and Reporting, Incident Management and reporting. 
• Selected for deputation tenure from the Indian Navy as the Harbour Master / Deputy Conservator for the entire 24 notified ports of A & N Islands with 680 personnel as work force.
• Drafted, formalized and implemented the A & N Inland Vessel rules 2016 in accordance with the Ministry of Shipping directives, which ensured safety for tourists visiting A & N Islands.
• Framed and implemented Pollution response organization in A & N Ports for the first time.

OPERATIONS / PROJECT / TEAM / ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT 

• Spearheaded teams’ onboard ships & units of Indian Navy ranging from 40 – 360 personnel during various appointments. 
• As the Harbor Master / Pilot, led the team from Indian Navy, L & T Shipyard Kattupally in anchoring / mooring of FDN – II (Yard 55000) off Port Blair and thereby ensured smooth completion of the project worth 73 Million dollars in a time bound manner. 
• As a Qualified PFSO (Port Facility Security Officer) & CSO (Company Security Officer) , formulated & implemented PFSP (Port Facility Security Plan) i.a.w IMO regulations for A & N Ports. As Harbor Master for 24 notified ports implemented the complete security plan, got the ports audited by DG Shipping & acquired the ISPS compliance report for the first time in the history of A&N Islands.

• 23 Sep 2022 – till date – GITAM University: Currently associated with GITAM University as Director – Security, Safety & Loss Prevention. Overseeing security operations across three campuses viz., Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Established the Directorate and formalized SOPs for smooth functioning of the University. Coordinating with Government agencies across three states for timely clearances and support for the University requirements. Driving automation projects, regular audits and process adherence.

• 23 Sep 2019 – 22 Sep 2021 – Reliance JIO : Was associated with Reliance Infocomm Ltd as DGM – State Head (Andhra Pradesh) – SLP Business, led 32 Direct staff and 140 outsourced staff. Planned and ensured periodic audits across all 449 business sites in the state of AP. Corporate Security, Electronic Surveillance, Process adherence, mentoring & coaching entire Operations Staff in meeting Business targets along with due diligence towards processes & SOPs. 

• 10 Apr – 22 Jun 2019 - Amazon : As Operations Manager Intern @ Elastic Run - service partner to Amazon, handled three states AP, Telangana & Tamil Nadu in Amazon Last mile Delivery Operations. Handled 19 Delivery stations across three states, led 40 direct employees and 250+ delivery executives. Ensured seamless last mile delivery channel in the area of responsibility, delivered more than 12,000 shipments per day. Acted as POC both for Amazon & Elastic Run, handled P & L of all sites as the Operations Manager.
