Mohd Zaheb Husain

By way of Introduction, I am Mohd Zaheb Husain, an Independent Legal Counsel with 4 years of experience.  I handle litigation in Supreme Court of India, High Courts, District Courts and Arbitration (International and Domestic),criminal matters, intellectual property matters. I focus on regulatory work as well.  I was a result-oriented college graduate from Amity Law School and have completed my LLM from Cardiff University, UK. During my academic career, I have also managed to accrue an extensive amount of work experience.

My most recent experience as an advocate in the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, and District Courts has provided me with the opportunity to represent clients such as Orris Infrastructure, AMEX and Shell India on secondments in high-stakes cases, ensuring the protection of their interests and rights. Prior to working as an Independent Counsel, I was at MRP Advisory FZ-LLC, a Dubai based firm where I focus on ICA proceedings arising out of construction disputes. I had an opportunity to work closely with and learn from leading the then QC’s (Now KC’s) from 39 Essex and Keating Chambers, as well as leading expert witnesses. Here I have drafted RFA’s, SOC’s, SORDCC’s Opening Submissions etc for high-value and complex ICC affiliated construction disputes. 

I also had an opportunity to work with a leading IPR boutique firm, Singh and Singh Law Firm. I have also frequently interface with regulators and law enforcement authorities and provide representation and legal advisory services on matters such as tariff determination, licensing, performance regulation and adjudicatory proceedings.
