Molika Ahlawat

My name is Molika Ahlawat. I am actively seeking job opportunities as a PGT Psychology and/or school counselor. 

I recently completed my Master's in Clinical Psychology from the University of Delhi, North Campus, and successfully cleared the UGC NET Psychology exam on my first attempt in December 2023. I am also pursuing Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from Jamia Milia Islamia. Currently, I am working part-time as a PGT Psychology at Revati Academy where I teach CBSE 12th-grade students.

In addition to my teaching role, I am engaged in manuscript development for my Master's thesis for the purpose of publication and book chapter writing in collaboration with my dissertation supervisor (Assistant Professor at DU). However, these projects will not interfere with my commitment to any full time opportunity that I am seeking.

I have always enjoyed interacting with students, and teaching provides a mutually beneficial platform for this engagement. I am dedicated to enhancing learning outcomes for students, especially in light of the new education policy. My goal is to contribute to the education sector, and I am committed to fostering a positive learning environment.

Currently, I am working part time as a PGT psychology at an academy where I take classes for 12th CBSE students. While I do have experience in teaching, my experience in counseling and therapy has been limited to field work and internships and I am eager to apply the knowledge and skills that I have gained to contribute to students’ holistic growth and mental health wellness while further developing my expertise and receiving mentorship.
