I am a Ph.D. graduate in Chemistry with expertise in the design and synthesis of π-conjugated small molecules and organic semiconducting polymers for advanced materials applications. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at HKUST in Hong Kong. My research focuses on understanding processing–structure–property relationships to develop high-performance materials for organic electronics, photocatalysis, and energy conversion. I have experience in synthesizing and characterizing novel organic materials. My work combines organic synthesis with materials characterization to design functional systems with improved performance and stability. I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary research that integrates molecular design, polymer synthesis, and interfacial assembly to develop next-generation sustainable energy and electronic materials.

During my doctoral research, I gained extensive experience in organic synthesis, polymer chemistry, and the development of functional materials. My work involved designing and synthesizing novel conjugated molecules and polymers, followed by their structural and spectroscopic characterization using techniques such as NMR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, BET, GPC and other analytical methods. I also worked on optimizing reaction conditions, developing synthetic routes for complex organic systems, and studying their applications in organic semiconductors and photocatalytic systems. Through my research, I developed strong problem-solving skills, laboratory management abilities, and experience collaborating with interdisciplinary research teams.

I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry with specialization in organic synthesis and functional materials. My doctoral research focused on the design and synthesis of π-conjugated small molecules and polymers for applications in chemo sensing and energy-related technologies. Through my education, I developed strong expertise in organic synthesis, materials design, and advanced characterization techniques, which enabled me to understand the relationship between molecular structure and material performance.
