Research and Innovation Economist  

I am a detail-oriented individual with more than four years of experience in conducting research in the field of  Economics, Business Management and Marketing at the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (State University in Sri Lanka). In addition, I have 2 years of industrial experience in Marketing, Product development, Product Management and Business Management at Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Ltd (A number one multinational company in Sri Lanka). Presently, I am conducting research for a national project under the Ministry of Higher Education. I have published 19 peer-reviewed journal articles including indexed journals and presented 15 research papers at national and international conferences. Now, I am seeking an opportunity to utilize my research and analytical skills in the field of Economics, Business Management, and Marketing where I can disseminate my knowledge to the society.

• B. Sc in Agricultural Technology and Management, Specialized in Agricultural Economics and Business Management at University of Peradeniya (Oct 2011 – Dec 2015), Second Class Honor Lower Division – GPA = 3.21.
• Diploma in Business Management (Edexcel) at ESOFT Metro Campus (June 2014 – Dec 2014)
• Certificate in English at South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (Oct – 2010).
