• Performing regular in-house die maintenance after each production run and review every piece/part to ensure continued quality and process reliability
• Each die is visually inspected and cleaned of debris
• Springs are removed for inspection and replaced when worn
• Important features are refinished/sharpened with abrasives The entire dieis then reassembled and lubricated
• Skilled in supervising, settings, operating and programming various conventional machine tools
  including CNC lathe, VMC, HMC, EDM, surface and cylinder grinding machines, band saw, RDM,
  and tool crib machines
• Following preventive maintenance plans, taking corrective measures, performing tear-downs,
  and cleaning procedures to reduce tool and die breakdowns during production
• Performing welding, grinding, and blue matching on moving and fixed inserts, die parts, and
  housings 
• Inspecting hydraulic oil, heating and cooling oil, and water systems to address leaks
• Verifying the quality and dimensions of newly installed die components and core pins 
• Analyzing blueprints, 2D drawings, sketches, and models to plan operations sequences for
  fabricating and assembling tools and dies
• Managing a team of over 20 individuals, including trainees, technicians, engineers, and
  contractors
• Skilled in controllers such as Siemens, Fanuc, Mazak, Deckle, and Hass
• Updating work data, documentation, and reports daily and monthly using the system
• Attending regular meetings with staff and management to discuss ongoing projects and tooling
  plans
• Supervising fabrication and welding processes
• Utilizing Delcam PowerMill and SolidWorks for design and CAM programming
• Leading efforts to maintain a safe work environment, handle and manage waste (hazardous and
  non-hazardous), and ensure colleagues to using safety equipment appropriately
• Showcasing problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting expertise
• Introducing regular Kaizen activities and innovative solutions to boost productivity
• Upholding a clean and safe workplace through daily 5S practices
