Implementation, Monitoring & Control Testing of Local Regulations & Reporting
- Ensuring identification, evaluation & formulation of a plan to address requirements arising from new and amended laws, regulations, rules and other requirements and expectations from regulatory and enforcement authorities for Retail credit Risk.
- Ensuring that the regulatory change management requirements and processes, along with the regulatory control framework for existing requirements, are effectively operating within the countries with respect to the identification, impact assessment and implementation of all applicable laws, regulations, rulesand related processes, controls and reporting that impact in various country forums Effectively manage Operational Risk associated with regulatory
- Ensuring appropriate & factual responses are presented in for the unit onTranch1 & Tanch11response, STAT audit, Concurrent Audit
Operational Risk Management-
- Implementation ORF and support group’s OR strategy and associated OR procedures to ensure that it is effectively managed at the Retail Credit Risk Function
- Assess periodically the operational risk profile and maintain alignment with risk appetite by rebalancing controls that may be required in response to internal and externalfactors
- Ensure implementation and execution of the ControlSample Testing (CST) process and facilitating the monitoring/collection of any Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Responsible for recording, maintaining and monitoring of risk in the trackingsystem. Ensuring the data accuracy, quality of information being recorded along with completeness and timely resolution of the risk
- Responsible for recordingoperational errors that occur withinbusiness that resultin financial losses,gains, near misses. and ensure root-cause analysis is performed to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure performance of reconciliation for all OL on system versus GL entries to ensure that all losses/recoveries are correct and/or accounted for on both sources and the Bank’s books and records.
Audit Management
- Act as coordinator for various internal/external audits/reviews and liaisewith various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information is provided.
- Tracking actions againstaudits and internalreviews and reporting the status of these actionsperiodically to the appropriate governance forums.
Thematic reviews & Quality Assurance checks
- Develop & design scope, prepare checklist for thematic reviews
- To execute review, draft reports, discuss and finalize reports with the auditee.
- Ensure that all critical issues identified are included in forums therein along with adequate plan of action
Outsourcing Management
- Preparation and maintenance of the database of Vendors for financials activities, preparation & monitoring of KRIs for Outsourcing Risk for submission to risk committee, submission of responses for various regulatory requirements pertaining to Outsourcing, dissemination of various regulatory guidelines and analysing, reviewing and mitigating the respective areas of the risk.
- Review, monitor and track the various observations to ensureadherence to the guidelines stipulated in the Outsourcing Policy of the Bank & Local requirement
- Schedule and Conduct Vendor Risk Reviews Onsite and Offsite reviews to ascertain the effectiveness of the Vendor’s Operational aspects such as Information Security, Process, Business Continuity and Physical Security
- Tracking & Monitoring of issues identified in TPSA audits.
Management of End User Computing (EUC) Applications
- Management of ORF framework for EUC which are registered for Retail Credit risk function,
- Performance & monitoring of controls & KRI for these registered EUC.
- Review, monitor and track the various observations to ensure adherence to the guidelines stipulated in the EUC Policy of the Bank
Learning & Development (Product, Process & System)
- Training Delivery:
- Content Development
- Measure Training effectiveness & Manage Ops activities
Collections (Retail Assets)
- Development & Management of Inhouse & outsourced collection teams.
- Ensure execution of process is in compliance to Regulatory norms.
Develop and update robustMIS and ensureall reporting requirements are met for statutory, compliance and regulatory requirements
