Nandini Mazumdar

A graduate in Sociology with minors in Economics and Statistics, I am currently pursuing my Masters in sociology at The University of Mumbai. My interest areas are social research and content writing/designing.

●I have interned at Young India Foundation as a Research and Data Analyst(2021) where i conducted research on various subjects, compiled data and produced timely reports. I also supported design and implementation of research methods and survey instruments such as telephonic interviews to obtain study information. 

●I have volunteered as a teacher (2021-2022) at AngelXpress Foundation, Mumbai where I encouraged creative thinking and motivated students by addressing individual strengths and weaknesses based on standardized testing results, implemented creative ways to foster curiosity for complex principles through hands-on learning and planned activities and reviewed curriculum and devised alternate approaches to presenting lessons to increase student understanding. 

●I have been a Partners in Sevice Director (2021-2022) at The Rotaract Club of Sophia College, Mumbai, where I developed and implemented performance improvement strategies and plans to
promote continuous improvement. I also  identified issues, analyzed information and provided solutions to problems and exceeded goals through effective task prioritization and great work ethic. 

●I've been a Peer Mentor of the Sociology Department (2021-2022) at Sophia College, Mumbai, where i understood student concerns and created a safe and all-inclusive space to help guide them through their difficulties. I assisted mentees with academic difficulties and aided in building a good academic rapport between the mentees and the sociology department.
