• Carry out tanks, pressure vessel , heat exchanger , skid, structure inspection and metallic piping of surface preparation & painting work

• Witnessing and carrying out checks accompanied with pre application, application e.g. surface preparation , climatic conditions , material preparation , after application , checks , marking areas of defects and assurance of repair compliance , validity of equipment and material storing conditions

• Experience for inspection of FBE , 3LPE and 3LPP in vendor manufacture pipe and for pipeline coating , field joint coating and heat shrink sleeves , visco elastic coating system wrapping for underground

• Study of client’s specification and developing for approving already prepared technical procedure according to standards and requirements specified , attending the pre job conference and the periodical meetings. Reading and interpretation of P&ID drawing and isometric drawings

• Experience of all coating inspection instruments / gauges and test kits in level of using (as inspector) that includes : climatic conditions gauges and measurements. DFT magnetic / ultrasonic gauges and instruments , surface visible cleanliness comparators , surface profile gauge. Surface contamination test instruments , surface temperature thermometers ,pinholes, holidays and discontinuity testers of dry applied coats .adhesion testers of dry applied coats

• Conversant to most of the international codes (ASTM , ISO , SSPC , NACE )

• Certify reports prepared by the applicator and reporting to the client

• Preliminary design and check all painting and protective coating systems , method of application included: spraying ( Air , Airless and plural component spray systems ), field shop application.

• Witnessing and approving pre job evaluation / after completion final acceptance tests

• Preparing the daily work schedule and the widely work plan that includes manpower , equipment  , materials and working hours , liaison affiliated parties eg . subcontractors , suppliers , construction etc.

• Experience in hot dip galvanizing and many other specialized coatings.Verify special processes and the               relevant workers qualifications and paint qualification

• Performs punch-listing operations and Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes and sends to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.
