Nihar Parpia

I am a physiotherapist and have completed my under-graduation from Christian Medical College, Vellore, and am pursuing my Master of Public Health (near completion) from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a strong focus on Health quality, communication, and administration.

I have worked in the outpatient unit of the department in the first year, treating patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions and in the inpatient unit of the department in the second year treating patients in medicine, oncology, gynecology, and surgery units. I handled the female continence clinic, teaching bladder training to women suffering from urinary incontinence, and conducted exercise groups for post-operative head and neck cancer patients.
