Experience
Accounting Functions
- Maintaining statutory books of accounts and reconciliation of financial statements in compliance with the norms; preparing & consolidating Monthly Balance Sheet and monitoring Books of Accounts of Company, its Subsidiaries, Associate Company and Joint Ventures.
- Presenting a true and fair view of the financial position of the company by way of timely preparation of annual reports ensuring analysing the expenditure on monthly basis to control expenses, looking after complete cash flow management.
- Developing and finalising different type of financial statements such as profit & loss account; maintaining MIS & fund flow reports; evaluating them for facilitating decision-making process
- Assist in forecasting cash flows, analyzing financial data, and providing recommendations for optimizing financial performance
Receivable & Payable
- Overseeing advance controls for advance payments & follow-up with purchaser, cost center wise consumption & analysis with average consumption.
- Preparing and following up of bills receivables after invoicing to debtors, conducting ageing analysis with an aim to keep receivables under control.
- Reviewing invoices and checking requests, sorting and matching invoices, setting invoices up for payment, processing check requests, preparing and processing accounts payable checks, handling reconciliation of payments, preparing analysis of accounts, monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date, resolving invoice discrepancies and assisting in month end closing related to payables.
Costing, Fund Management & Budgetary Control
- Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions.
- Overseeing treasury functions including optimum utilization of surplus funds; controlling management of funds ensuring pay-in/ pay-out of funds in time without fail.
Auditing & Taxation
- Coordinating in complete planning & management activities for completion of internal & statutory audits within time.
- Handling the internal audit of the companies including setting up of internal audit systems as well as monitoring of the implementation of the systems.
- Preparing coordinating in filing of Tax Deduction at Source Return.
- Familiar with audit compliance of SOX act 2002 (Sarbanes Oxlay Act).
Statutory Compliance / MIS
- Calculating & releasing the GST & TDS liability.
- Liaising with the various Government Departments, Income Tax Authorities & ensuring the compliance of regulatory norms; maintaining MIS & evaluating them for facilitating decision making process.
- Familiar with US GAAP principles, assumptions, constraints.
