My name is Nitiraj Ashok Okate. I am from Ratnagiri, but currently living in Diva. I have completed my graduation from Mumbai University.

I started my career as an Accountant with a progressive organization. I have strong fundamental knowledge of Accounting and Accounting Information Systems. I am well-versed with SAP, Oracle, and Tally Prime.

I previously worked at SMFG India Credit Co. Ltd. in the Accounts Payable department, 

I am responsible for managing the Accounts Payable process. This includes invoice verification and processing invoices with accuracy, verifying invoices against PO/Non-PO, WO supporting DC, Agreement, services, and entering data into the accounting system. I also handle vendor queries and payment-related issues

• • Invoice Verification and Processing: Accurately verify and process vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies 
• • Verified invoices against Purchase orders/NON-PO, goods receipt documents, service entries, and agreements.
•  • Ensured proper calculation and accounting of applicable taxes, including GST and TDS, during invoice process.
• • Follow up with the respective departments regarding open GRN, SCNs and pending advances 
• • Entered invoice data into ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and maintained digital records 
• • Coordinated with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies. 
• • Payment Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors • Reconciled vendor accounts and supported month-end closing activities 
• • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management. 
• • Audit Support: Assist in audits related to the accounts payable function and prepare year-end books for audit purposes.
