Noor Akhunji

I am a Robotics & Computer Engineer with a passion for creating innovative and cutting-edge solutions that leverage Robotics, AI, and IoT technologies. I have completed my Master's degree in Robotics Engineering at Heriot-Watt University, where I am learned advanced concepts and skills in Robotics design, development, and integration.

My most recent work experience was as an Embedded Engineer at STEMbotix, where I provided end-to-end embedded solutions for various embedded product solutions. I led the design and development of intricate PCBs, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. I also implemented coding solutions in C/C++, Python, and other languages to enable seamless integration of Robotics, AI and IoT technologies. In addition, I have hands-on experience in Web development and Graphics designing, thanks to my previous internship at XIPRA TECHNOLOGY and my personal projects. I utilised HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build interactive and dynamic web components, improving user engagement and functionality. My goal is to secure a challenging position in a leading corporate in a hi-tech environment, where I can effectively contribute my skills and knowledge, and grow with committed and dedicated people.

Learned "Embedded Systems" in which i have done work and practice on ESP | Arduino and many microcontrollers in the area of such as FreeRTOS, Analog and Digital signals, Pulse Modulation, Multitasking functionality in microcontroller.

Learned "Robotics Mechanical System" in which i got all the knowledge and skills in robot kinematics and inverse kinematics with the focus on the simulation of kinematic motion. Also created one project "3 DOF camera stabiliser mounted on a buggy".

Finished my final year project's research work which is "Automatic Clothes Ironing and Folding".

Additionally in the group project we have done work on Sensor-rich autonomous vehicle for self-driving applications on "QUANSER QCar" to make it work and perform ADAS functionality such as Lane following, image and symbol detection and take actions.
