I have a strong exposure with working in a big multinational company in Ghana with 20 yrs of work experience in Melcom Group of Companies in WEST AFRICA
First being a Retail Store Manager for 10 yrs having total staff of 150 staffs working under my supervision with large format of 30,000 sqft, Area
with huge variety of products Specialist in Electronics, Home Appliances, Furniture as well as FMCG goods, Garments, Hardware, Stationery, Home Décor a, Home furnishing nd Supermarket Dept.
The Job Responsibilities Includes :
1. Daily routine of a briefing with the Sales Team about the sales target Achieving the Goals
2. Excellent Displaying of Products which have huge quantities to be displayed in front to clear the stock
3. Maintaining and Providing the best customer service / Handling Customer Complains wisely
4. Checking up the daily stock inventory reports for not over stockings of Stock
5. Always focusing on the slow moving products to get rid of thru Promotion every month
6. Every week giving feedback to the purchase department about the movement of the stock
7. My Main Motto matters the Sales , That's my bottom Line
8. Achieving the Monthly Sales Target set by the Company
9. Maintaining the Maintenance team for the Opening n Closing procedure of Air cons, Lights as well as housekeeping staff
10. Ready to work in pressure with challenges
11. Excellent in ERP Oracle and SAP Advanced
12. Fully Knowledge in Excel too
13. Proper Merchandising as per Lay Out Plan of the Store
14. Checking expiring products to clear the stock thru promotions
And Later was transferred to the Main Warehouse FOR 5 YRS as a Senior Warehouse Manager
Job n Responsibilities included
1. Controlling the Inventory of Stock
2. Clearing up the Dead n Non moving Stocks
3. Reducing the Shrinkage
4. Making space for the new products to be Stocked
5. Controlling the man power to offload the Containers on a daily basis
6. Coordinating with the head office and branches for the no of stock available
7. Sending the weekly reports based on the movement of inwards and outwards movements of stocks
8. Suggesting and reducing the prices of dead stocks products to clear them sooner
9. Increasing the Wholesale supplier to clear the stock on urgent basis
10. Pushing up the stocks in to branches which occupies more space
Later was promoted as a Procurement Manager with 5 yrs experience in buying sourcing from China, Malaysia , Turkey and in India
The Job Responsibilities Includes :
1. Negotiable Pricing with manufacturing outlets
2. Maintaining the quality as per Africa Standard
3. Keep the competitive price compared to the market standard based on costing
4. Conducting the promotion and training session to sell the products in a professional way as per customer knowledge
5. Placing Orders with a required MOQ , Sizes , Colors as per our requirements
