This is Oviya, a counselling psychologist with 2.5+ years experience, specializing in family counseling, including couple/marital and parenting therapy, as well as supporting clients navigating stress, anxiety, and related concerns. I see growth as an ongoing process, and I feel most connected to walking alongside people as they move through that process.

I’ve worked across diverse settings, including schools, corporate environments, and as a consulting therapist, which has given me exposure to people from varied cultures, backgrounds, and worldviews. I typically work with clients aged 12 to 45 on concerns related to interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships, stress, anxiety, parenting, navigating adolescence, premarital concerns, and major life transitions.

I completed my higher secondary education through NIOS with a focus on Psychology and Sociology. I hold a B.Sc. in Psychology from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai, and an M.Sc. in Family Counselling from the Madras School of Social Work, Chennai. I also pursue ongoing professional training, including a current certification in trauma‑informed couple therapy, along with other specialized courses to deepen my practice.
