Having more than 15 years of scrupulous experience in Human Resources domain, while successfully leading and managing from the front the human resource portfolio of large size offshore Maritime Industry in the HRM vertical as a Crewing Manager, I have built, managed and grew client relationships by adding value to the client business.
My career graph evolved whilst I was working in Tidewater Marine Int’l Inc from 2007 till 2017. I joined the Organization as GMS Assistant and gradually moved on to become Crewing Coordinator to Crewing Manager within the Organization. During my tenure I have able to pass successfully Internal/External Audits including class audits for vessel assigned under my supervision. My effective Inter-personal skills helped me to build good repo with the seagoing personal and been able to work effectively changing peoples life and consistently met the requirements laid down by our clients in manning the vessel with skilled, certified and experienced crew meeting the criteria having skills and experienced with dealing multi-national crew such as Europeans, Chinese, Filipinos, Honduras, Columbians, Mexican, USA, Egyptian, Syrian, Bangladeshi, Australian , Nigerian, Angolan, Ghanian , South African and British in day to day activities / documentation as well man management skills effectively.

Planning Officers for Handy size /VLOC/Cape Size Bulk Carriers from Senior Officers to Junior Officers for assigned Bulk vessels as per Portfolio , sending the proposals to respective SMC for approvals and assignments as per requirement.
Checking through documentation & arranging In house training as required for Officer including Promotional training, ME / Type specific ECDIS as such. Arranging logistics for all crew including ratings & Officers including flights, hotel accommodation in India Liaison with Officers for vessel assignment with agreed wages as per budget. Arranging visa formalities /processing China, Australian MCV, transit visa for crew as per joining schedule/Port. Taking DOA of Ex hands and maintaining updating the same in System.
Crewing Manager | Jan 2007 – Feb 2017 Tide Water Marine International Inc. Managing all aspects of seagoing personal administration. Supervising the implementation of crew department procedure as planned and executed by department respective personnel. Ensuring each vessel is manned with qualified, medically fit, and experienced seafarers and supervising the STCW convention on board. Monitoring available ex crew and schedule deployment, anticipating future company’s needs for recruitment and informing the Area Manager/ Operations Manager on man power planning and employment issues. Implementing manning decision made by top Management. Liaising with other department heads for recruitment of Deck and Engine officers. Verifying the certification and sea going records of New- hire are genuine. Maintaining crew lists of current manning in respect of each vessel. Providing immediate medical assistance to the shipboard personnel and liaising personally on regular basis with the crew. Preparing appointment letters/working agreements for all seafarers. Negotiating with agencies associated with Industry for reviewing rates / negotiating cost effective to meet overhead crewing coordination expenses. Negotiate with hotels in terms of finalizing cost effective economical pricing for crew accommodation. Reviewing information on the performance of all sea going personnel and make suggestion on their promotion – post consulting department heads.
