Network Engineer (Network cabling Support)

Work location – Tec Mahindra Shollinganallur, Chennai.
Maintain structured Data cables in switch and server Racks.
Terminated category 5 and category 6 cable runs per client specifications.
Trouble shoot associate’s physical network issues and install new data links for them requirements.
Install new backbone cables from one rack to another rack for new devices installations (Firewalls, servers, switches, routers, etc…,)
Maintain Floor to Floor(indoor) and building to building(outdoor) Network cables.
Support all DR activities from network side (core switch DR, Firewall DR, Distribution switch DR, and UPS DR)
Support with Internet service providers for MUX and fibre link issues.
2019 and 2020 emergency periods fully support with Operational Team (OS installation, Windows and security patches update, trouble shoot Hardware issues in Desktops and Laptops.)
Maintain and update all HUB rooms and Data Centre devices inventory. (Each Rack wise)
Update every month material stock details (I/O s, RJ 45, FSP Modules etc…,)
Replace The Faulty devices from Network Racks.
