With over 500 hours of experience working with clinical adult populations, I have developed strong diagnostic skills through shadowing cases, case discussions, and collaboration with psychiatric doctors. This foundation has equipped me with the ability to address complex psychological needs.

As an ABAT candidate with behavior therapy experience, I have a passion for creating inclusive environments where children feel supported and empowered to thrive. My work as a shadow teacher has been particularly rewarding, as it has allowed me to offer personalized support to children, helping them engage in the classroom, improve social skills, and overcome challenges. Working closely with children with neurodivergent needs, including ADHD, GDD, and sensory processing difficulties, I have seen firsthand how one-on-one attention can foster progress and development.

Collaborating with occupational therapists, I’ve helped design tailored interventions for children, ensuring their unique needs are met. The emotional satisfaction of seeing children grow, develop confidence, and succeed in their unique journeys is what truly drives my passion. Being part of their progress and helping them reach their full potential brings immense joy and fulfillment.

I completed my MSc in Clinical Psychology, with a strong focus on child psychology, which has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the unique mental health needs of children. My studies involved learning about developmental psychology, child behavioral issues, and therapeutic approaches tailored to young populations. I became skilled in assessing and diagnosing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD in children, as well as applying various therapeutic interventions like play therapy and cognitive-behavioral strategies.

Additionally, I am pursuing the ABAT (Applied Behavior Analysis Technician) course, which complements my clinical psychology background by providing practical skills in behavior analysis. This course has helped me understand how to apply ABA techniques, such as reinforcement and behavior modification, to support children with developmental and behavioral challenges. Combining both my MSc in Clinical Psychology and ABAT training allows me to approach child mental health from both a therapeutic and behavioral perspective, enhancing my ability to help children thrive.
