- Formation and implementation of HR Policies & Processes (including recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, counseling, pay and conditions, contracts, training and development, succession planning, moral and motivation, culture and attitude development, performance appraisal).

- Communicates with management and employees regarding Human Resources issues. Explains and interprets personnel policies, procedures, and processes, as directed.
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
- Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.
- Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, terminating employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.
- Familiarity with sustainability assessment tools like EcoVadis and Sedex.
Experience
Since Nov’20; with Global Health Care Products, Silvassa (UT of DNH & DD) as a Manager – HR.
Key Deliverables:
Working cohesively with all departments and implemented various key decisions effectively to its total adoption and practice.
- Manpower Planning according to the requirement including identification of Hipo employees, leverage opportunities to build diversity within the business. Ensure job rotation and career development plans are implemented.
- Ensure smooth induction and joining formalities for new hires to the business and culture, exit formalities, maintenance of HR Master data.
- Facilitate implementation of capability building programs. Develop the training matrix for the site and facilitate delivery through in-house capability or external faculty and impact assessment.
- Ensure HR MIS is maintained & updated timely, analyze & present the plant HR data (attrition, hiring, promotion, performance rating trends, manpower cost, manpower count, productivity metrics) for monthly, quarterly and annual reviews.
- Planning and conducting Performance Analysis Exercise and then Analyzing Performance of all employees by the help of departmental heads and then decide for their increments.
- Support Plant Head for inputs to facilitate Talent Reviews, career management, and succession planning.
- Monitoring and submissions of compliance for Contract employees.
- Safeguard the interest of labor and management by securing the highest level of mutual understanding and good-will among all sections.
- Ensure harmonious employee relations and avoid industrial conflict.
- Raise productivity to a higher level in an era of full employment by lessening the tendency to high turnover and frequency absenteeism.

- Dealing with PCC/CPCB/GPCB for CCA/CTE amendments & monitoring related activities in the Plant.
- Complying with CGWA guidelines and norms to obtain NOC, obligatory for ground water abstraction (industrial use).
- Preparation, implementation and adherence of SOPs relevant to HR dept. & documentation as per cGMP.
- Representing human resource dept. in various kinds of external audits like GMP, EHS, Halal and ISO standards.
Feb’12 to Oct’20; with Classic Marble Company Pvt. Ltd., Silvassa (UT of DNH & DD) as an Assistant Manager – HR.
Key Deliverables:
Working strictly as per SOP’s and adhere to the Policies.
- Initiating manpower budgeting by consulting with HODs and COO, planned in consultation with heads of different functional & operational areas and conducting interviews.
- Managing end to end recruitment; issuing offer, appointment and confirmation letter.
- Preparing Skill Matrix, Competency mapping and TNI.
- Executing employee engagements at Plant level; monitoring time keeping functions.
- Conducted surveys on HR related aspects, as compared to its competitors as well as updating the HR Manual.
- Executing activities of salary management of employees & workers, full & final settlements and exit interviews and thereby ensuring prompt resolution of employee grievances.
