I am Prajith Gopalan working as a Mechanical Engineer with more than 14 years of work experience in Execution & Quality Checking of mechanical oriented Construction activities like Installation & Commissioning of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing and Kitchen & Laundry equipment etc. as a Mechanical Engineer in various Residential, Commercial High rise building construction projects in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain & in India.

• Key role in the review of the following 
  • Design drawings and HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage, Fire Fighting specification 
  • Mechanical Materials submittals for compliance with Contract Documents
  • Mechanical Shop/Vendor drawings for compliance with Contract Documents
  • Mechanical Specifications & Calculations for conformance with Contract Documents
  • Built drawings, Mechanical operation & maintenance manuals and warranties
• Inspect the material &equipment delivered at site and confirm with approved MSS and specification
• Ensure final inspection with the consultant prior to use the material at site
• Follow QA / QC procedures for Mechanical systems like HVAC, Plumbing, Fire fighting etc.
• Testing all the trades(HVAC, PLUMBING,FIRE FIGHTING) as per standard method after the execution
• Generate weekly progress report and submit the same to the Project Manager
• Supervise & Follow up Mechanical progress of works
• Oversee the final inspection of completed Mechanical works before handing over to the Client
• Implement the Project Mechanical Quality Assurance Plan
• Ensure that any non-conformity has been reported through a Non Conformance Report (NCR), reviewed site responsible and corrective action to be submitted to the Consultant
• Formulate Final handing over dossier and maintain proper filling system (as per Company procedure) with full traceability for retrieving the document
• Liaise with clients for QC matters & synchronize with 3rd party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities
• Inspection of raw materials, bought out items and review of Material Test Certificates and specification requirements
• Making RFI, MIR, Punchlist, Sudden punch list, NNC, NCR, M0, M1, M2 upto closing phase & weekly preparation of report regarding all.
